WOW--The Deputy Governor Of Niger State Has Decamps To APC From PDP
News reaching us that the deputy Governor of Niger State, Ahmed Musa Ibeto has decamped from the PDP to the APC. Mr Ibeto defected today January 19th and will be presented to APC followers during the party's presidential campaign in the state later today.
According to the news, Mr Ibeto decided to defect from the party that brought him into government after the state Governor, Aliyu Babangida of the PDP failed to help him emerge as the Governorship candidate of PDP in next month's election.
Also, 200 political office holders of the PDP, including serving members of the National Assembly and State House of Assembly, former commissioners & local govt chairmen in the state also defected to APC.

Pope Francis Speaks About The Charlie Hebdo Attackt--SEE WHAT HE SAID
Pope Francis of catholic church speaks about the recent Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris. While defending freedom of expression saying its a fundamental human right, he also said ‘you cannot insult the faith of others.
"One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people’s faith, one cannot make fun of faith. There is a limit. Every religion has its dignity...in freedom of expression there are limits.
He gestured to a friend and said “If my good friend Dr Gasparri says a curse word against my mother, he can expect a punch. It’s normal. It’s normal. You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others.”

News reaching us from Abuja that some unknown gunmen storm into the home of APC National chairman Chief John Oyegun on Jan. 12th.....
According to a statement by the party, two men suspected to be assassins broke into Mr Oyegun's Abuja home around 1.3am and went straight into his bedroom to ransack it. The men met Oyegun's wife as he was not at home when they came.
“The facts of the raid as available so far point to a sinister motive. For example, only Chief Oyegun’s room was ransacked in the whole house. Common sense dictates that if the invaders were robbers, they would have ransacked the whole house in search of money and other valuables which they might have believed were in the residence.
The invaders, 2 burly men, removed the window burglar bars to gain access to the residence from the back, and then made straight for the bedroom of our national chairman. Police security was in place at the residence when the incident happened.” the statement read

The presidential candidate of APC Gen. Muhammadu Buhari got a copy of King James Version of the Holy Bible as a special gift from the Anglican Bishop of Awka, Rt. Rev. Alex Ibezim as he pays him a special visit.
The former head of state was in Ibezim’s house before the rally, which took place at Emmaus House, Awka.
Addressing supporters at the rally, Buhari promised to end the spate of insecurity and revolutionize the economy if elected President in the February election.
He said he would improve public power supply to boost investment opportunities in places like Onitsha and Nnewi, which form the bedrock of the economy of the South-East.
Also speaking at the event, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, refuted the claims by some Buhari’s opponents that he planned to make Islam a state religion when he becomes president.
“Buhari was once a military general and Head of State. He had decree and power. If he didn’t do it then, is it now that we are in a democracy that he will Islamise Nigeria?” he asked.
Buhari, who was accompanied by Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, the National Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, former Abia State Governor, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, and former Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Segun Oni, had earlier visited the Eze Uzu of Awka, Obi Gibson Nwosu.

Gu'nmen Attack French Magazine Office & K!lled 12 People
After two masked men brandishing Kalashnikovs stormed the headquarters of French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo, this afternoon and opened fire on staff, k!lling 12 people and wounding 10, including reporters, administrative staff and two police police officers.
The attack is supposedly in revenge for the magazine's mockery of the Holy Prophet Mohammed in a cartoon. A journalist with Europe1 News said several men in black were heard shouting 'the Prophet has been avenged', after the mass shooting. Police chased the attacker but the men managed to escape in a car they hijacked. The attackers are still on the loose.

Pastor Adeboye, Friday night, reiterated his call on members to ensure that they get their permanent voter cards, to enable them exercise their civic responsibility during next month’s general elections.
Speaking on the theme, ‘The Burden Bearer’, during the church monthly Holy Ghost Service held at the Redemption Camp, Adeboye said the voter card is the only power the people have during election.
He reminded the congregation that everyone was expected to collect and bring his/her card to the church on the first Sunday of January, saying that parish pastors will request for it.
