According sources, four commercial banks in Owo town, Ondo state were attacked by armed robbers numbering about 10 this.The robbers reportedly entered Owo town through Abuja-Owo road.
They were dressed in military uniform fully armed and blocked all major roads. Eyewitnesses said a few people were k!!lled while others were injured during the attack.
A bank manager and a bank staff have been confirmed dead. The bank manager was reported to have been struggling with the robbers when he was shot de'ad. One of the robbers was captured and set ablaze.
